DIPLOMATS

What our community say and feel about us

Iam honored and proud to be a dumpling diplomat  and participating in many events over the past year. From the time I was little, my mother showed me how important it is to make people feel included and cared for through her volunteer work. She cooked and baked foods to share with others, exhibiting love and care.

We always have an extra chair at our table, and welcome anyone who's hungry, lonely, or just doesn't cook to share delicious food and conversation. An added plus for me is learning how to make so many foods from all over the world and sharing them with others. My food chopping skills have greatly improved as well.

Economic and social status or orientation don't matter to us. Please join us when you can and have a seat at our table. Dumpling Diplomacy exists for the greater good, reaches so many people and fills hearts and souls.

For my daughter (who happened to be visiting from London) and me, this event certainly exceeded all expectations! Not only had Susan been born in "1973" – but in 2016, she wore an Oscar de la Renta dress (with matching 3/4-sleeve bolero) straight from the label's London showroom) to her wedding!

Thus it was enthralling to be in the audience of this slick, informative, and beautiful event on Monday. Our compere was extraordinary, and Norma was simply delightful! We enjoyed seeing the contributions arising from the hard work and talent of the school + the background music and tastes of the Dominican Republic all added to the flair of the show!
