DUMPLING MAKERS

No experience necessary! Expert makers will work with novices to make and package dumplings.

Everyone

• Must be a rising 9th grader or age 14+;
• Must be willing to perform quality control on dumplings by tasting (barring dietary restrictions);
• Will bring a well-rested set of hands to fold dumplings;
• Will be ready with a well-exercised dominant hand to staple the drawings to the dumpling packages;
• Helps to clean up bowls, spoons, kitchen, etc.

Experienced makers

• May optionally bring a pound of their preferred filling;
• May optionally bring enough wrappers to contain that lovely filling.

CARD CREATORS

A hand drawn picture accompanies every box of dumplings.

Guidelines

• Each drawing should be on the blank side of a 3" x 5" index card and;
• Include a dumpling or personal message and;
• Include the words "Dumpling Diplomacy" spelled either literally or phonetically.

That’s all! We've gotten cards from 2-year-olds perfecting their tenuous circle dumplings, dumplings escaping chopsticks from grade schoolers, dumplings breaking out of jail with a knotted sheet rope, and dragons cooking dumplings with their fiery breath.

The prevailing philosophy: You do you. Cards can be created by anyone or any group in any location at any time. Completed cards can be dropped off, mailed in, or picked up.
